Puri: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattanaik, though his sand sculpture, appealed the people to save oceans on the occasion of World Oceans Day today.

Pattnaik, with the help of his students, created a beautiful sand art on Puri Sea beach with a message -‘Save our Ocean’.

The sand artist also urged the people to stop plastic pollution through the sand art, which has become a crowd puller on the sea beach.

People were seeing clicking photos and selfies on the spot.

Governor Ganeshi Lal, who attended a sand art exhibition, organised to create awareness about the bad impact of use of plastic yesterday, highly appreciated Pattnaik’s efforts for different social causes.
