Cuttack : Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi took oath as a judge of Orissa High Court here on Monday. He was administered the oath of office by the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court Justice Sanju Panda in a simple ceremony at the court premises.
With the appointment of Justice Sanjeeb Panigrahi , the number of judges at the High Court increased to 14.
On February 7, President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Advocate Sanjeeb Panigrahi as judge of Orissa High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
The appointment has been made pursuant to a Supreme Court Collegium proposal made in October last year.
