Sanctum Sanctorum Of Akhandalamani Temple In Bhadrak, Odisha Submerged In Flood Waters

Bhadrak: The garba gruha (Sanctum Sanctorum) of the famous Akhandalamani Temple in Aradi of Bhadrak district in Odisha has been flooded.

According to reports, due to the heavy rains experienced due to cyclone Yaas there was a remarkable rise in the water level of river Baitarani.

The river water overflowed into the Shivganga pond inside the temple premises which in turn flooded the inner prayer hall of the temple.

Since yesterday was a full moon night, the river water could not recede into the sea and the water level did not decrease.

But it is to be noted that even in the flood like situation the rituals and worship of lord Akhandalamani was carried out.
