SAMS Odisha Merit list 2021: Second merit list of Plus Three admissions released; Check details

Bhubaneswar: The second selection merit list for admissions in Plus Three degree colleges across Odisha has been released by the Department of Higher Education (DHE) on Thursday.

A total of 40,611 students including 19,024 males, 21,584 females and 3 transgenders have been selected in the second round merit selection. The candidates can check their selection list at Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.

Out of 40,611 students, as many as 23,346 candidates have been selected in the Arts stream and 3,771 students for the Commerce stream while 237 students were selected for Sanskrit.

Likewise, 5,828 candidates were selected in Biology, 6,944 in Physics and 485 in Self Financing.

As per the schedule, the online deposit of admission fees by the selected students through SAMS (Students’ account) portal will be received from September 23 (2 PM) and September 27 (11.45 PM).

It is to be noted here that this year, a total of 2,44,252 students had applied for the Plus 3 admission. Out of which, 1,68,537 students were selected in the first phase.
