Kendrapara: In a gory incident, unidentified miscreants killed a woman and dumped her body parts after putting those in a bag at Kathuagand village under Rajnagar police limits this morning.
The incident came to light this morning after some locals spotted a gunny bag lying in the village and rang up police.
Police rushed to the spot and conducted the preliminary investigation with the help of scientific team. During the investigation the cops found the deceased sliced into pieces by assailants before being stuffed into the bag. Her chappal was also found lying by the side of the sack.
While a case has been lodged by police in connection with the incident, an investigation has been launched to ascertain the identity of the deceased.
