Bhubaneswar: Pulling of the chariot of Lord Lingaraj on the occasion of annual Rukuna Rath Yatra was stopped midway and will continue again on Sunday.
On Saturday, the pulling of the chariot had begun from Lingaraj Temple and was scheduled to end at Mausi Maa temple. But it was stopped midway due to unknown reasons. The pulling of the Rukuna Rath will be resumed today.
Earlier on the day, thousands of devotees thronged to the temple city to pull the chariot on the auspicious day of Ashokastami.
