Sambalpur: Students created ruckus in Sambalpur University on Tuesday. They resorted to breaking furniture and property of the university.
The reason of ransacking the campus was because students opposed to the decision of conducting offline examinations amid rising Covid cases.
The students demanded to hold the Plus III examinations in both online and offline mode. They also tried to barge into the Vice Chancellor’s office.
In order to manage the students, the police had to resort to lathi charge. Police force has presently been deployed in the campus to help maintain law and order.
