Berhampur: Miscreants reportedly took away the ATM van along with Rs 24 lakh that was inside a box inside the vehicle in Berhampur of Ganjam district in Odisha on Wednesday.
As per reports, miscreants took away the ATM van with which cash money is shifted to be deposited in ATM machines, in Badbazar area of Berhampur today. It was said that there was Rs 24 lakh inside a box in the said van which the miscreants allegedly looted.
Later, Police traced the van while the driver was rescued in a unconscious state. He has been admitted to MKCG Hospital for treatment. Further investigation of the case is underway by Badbazar Police while efforts are being made to nab the unknown miscreants.
