Bolangir: A broad daylight robbery has been reported in Jatani area of Khurda district in Odisha on Monday. The miscreants have allegedly looted Rs 7 lakh cash on gun point from bank officials who came to refill an ATM.
According to reports, the loot has taken place near the Jatani Municipality office. The bank officials came to refill the ATM. However, three bike borne miscreants who came in a black Pulsar entered the ATM and threated them with a gun to hand over all the money.
The terrified bank officials fearing their life handed over all the cash they had which is estimated to be Rs 7 Lakh. The robbers then fled the scene.
The police has been informed and a FIR has been registered. The police has launched a manhunt for the looters.
