ROB At Matiapada Level Crossing In Puri Approved

Puri: The ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved construction of Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Matiapada level crossing near Gundicha temple on NH-316. The ROB will be a two-lane bridge having a length of 63.84 meters.

BJD MP from Puri, Pinaki Misra took the Twitter to announce the development. Mishra wrote that the district administration will soon begin the land acquisition process for construction of the ROB and estimates for the same will be prepared for approval of the competent authorities.

The also added that the tender in this regard will be shortly. Mishra also thanked Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the development.
