Chowdwar: A bus and truck had a collision near Jagatpur of Cuttack district on Saturday afternoon. As per reports, the bus was stationary on Chandikhol-Cuttack road when a speeding truck hit it from behind. A minor boy lost his life in the accident.
The private bus is reportedly named Babamani bus. It was reported that the bus was stationary on Khaira Bridge on Chandikhol-Cuttack road. A speeding truck hit it from behind. People on board the bus did not find the time to adjust which resulted in a minor boy, aged 7, losing his life. Another five were injured and have been admitted Cuttack SCB Medical Hospital and College.
A case has been registered with Jagatpur Police Station and an investigation is going on.
