Dhenkanal: As many as two people have been killed in a road accident in Kaluria village under Gandia police limits in Dhenkanal district of Odisha on Sunday night.
According to reports, three people were returning on a bike after watching jatra when their bike dashed against a sand laden tractor in which two people lost their lives on the spot whereas one sustained critical injuries.
On getting the information, the local police arrived at the spot and rescued the critical. He has been admitted to the Dhenkanal District Headquarter Hospital (DHH).
The cops have sent the bodies for autopsy and have initiated a probe into the matter.
The identities of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
