Dhenkanal: A youth has been killed in a road accident near Sukiabauti square under Rasola police limits in Dhenkanal district of Odihsa.
The deceased has been identified as Devraj Sahu.
According to reports, Devraj was going to open his shop in Telibhuin square when a private bus named as Durgamadhab en-route to Talcher collided head-on with his bike due to dense fog near Sukiabauti square on old Cuttack road.
Soon after the collision, the driver of the bus fled away from the spot.
On getting the information, the local police arrived at the spot and recovered the body. The bus and the bike have been seized by the cops.
