Reopening Of Schools In Odisha To Be Decided By End Of October

Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that the government will take a final call on reopening of schools after reviewing the Covid situation in Odisha by end of October.

The Minister added that the decision of opening the schools has been left to the respective state governments according to the directive of the central government.

“Our priority is the health of students. Odisha government will take appropriate decision at the right time by October end,” Dash added.

It is to be noted that the CM of Odisha had earlier announced that the schools and colleges shall remain closed till Durga Puja.

“No doubt the schools need to reopen. But Odisha government will take an appropriate decision after reviewing the COVID-19 situation by October end,” said Dash.

It is noteworthy that the schools have been closed for almost seven months due to the spread of the deadly Covid virus.

    According to me schools should not reopen as per the increase in COVID cases in odisha

    Students get caught easily by cold and sneezing
    There is 50-50 chance of getting attracted towards COVID
