Bhubaneswar: The release date of the teaser of the much awaited Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup-2018 song has been announced this evening.
The teaser of the official song, titled “Jai Hind, Jai India” will be released in the evening of November 18 (Sunday). This was announced Grammy award-winning music composer, the man behind the song, AR Rahman.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the legendary composer said, “Teaser of the much awaited Orissa Hockey song is going to be released on 18th ..Sunday evening ….Thanks for your patience and love !”
The video song, penned by celebrated lyricist-poet Gulzar, will feature Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and some prominent hockey players.
Both Rahman and Shah Rukh are slated to perform live during the opening ceremony of the mega event on November 27.
The “Jai Ho” fame singer also, yesterday announced that he will be performing at Barabati Stadium the on November 28.
Meanwhile, International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Narindra Dhruv Batra informed that around 10,500 online tickets would be sold for the inaugural ceremony of the Hockey World Cup and 30,000 tickets for the mega AR Rahman concert at Barabati stadium in Cuttack on November 28.
The Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 is scheduled to be held between November 28 and December 16.
