Rehabilitation Centers For PwD Beggars In Capital City Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A rehabilitation center for PwD beggars at Ghatikia in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha is all set to be inaugurated today.

The Minister of Science and Technology, Public Enterprises, Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department, Government of Odisha shall inaugurate the premises.

Amid the rising Covid crisis in the state this effort by the Government to provide shelter to the beggars has drawn praise.

It is noteworthy that Khurda alone has reported 1271 positives in the last 24 hours out of the 8216 fresh infections.
