Regional Transport Office to conduct special drive for school bus inspection from today in Cuttack

Cuttack: To ensure children safety while going to schools, the regional transport office (RTO) have launched an inspection on school buses in a drive which started from today in Cuttack

The special drive have begun from today and will continue till 27 May. In this drive the RTO department will check the school bus fitness certificate, permit,insurance and pollution certificate, licence of the driver.

It’s been two years since all the schools were closed due to Covid-19 pandemic. As now the schools are opened, the officials have started inspecting the bus, auto, mini bus in which the children are being taken.

The special drive is being carried out in many places in Cuttack city by three teams.

The Regional Transport Office have instructed to submit the report on April 28 after a long- week inspection.
