Rayagada: Fire personnel recovered the bodies of two minor students from a pond in Matikana village under Rayagada district in Odisha on Tuesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Hares Himirika and Sunil Himirika of the village. They were studying in class II and Class III respectively.
Both the students had reportedly gone missing from their school since yesterday.
Meanwhile, the local police have begun an investigation into the matter.
A pall of gloom descended on the locals after the demise of two minors.
