Puri: The Dakshina Moda of all three Ratha (chariots) of Lord Jagannath and his siblings to be held today.
After the Hera Panchami rituals, on 6th day after the Rath Yatra, the chariots will be prepared for their return journey and they will turn to south today.
After the preparation of Dakshina Moda, all three chariots will be kept near Nakachana Dwara eastern Gate of Gundicha Temple towards main Temple (Jagannath Mandir).
The Rath Dakshina Moda ceremony is the preparation for the Bahuda Yatra of the deities, which will be held on Sunday.
Meanwhile, thousands of devotes have already arrived at the Grand Road (Bodo Dando) to witness the chariots’ Dakshina Moda rituals.
Security personnel also have been deployed to maintain law and order in the Pilgrim Town.
