Balasore: A rare white owl was rescued from Baliapal block of Balasore district in Odisha on Wednesday.
The rare bird was rescued from the backyard of Badal Tudu of Kachuapada village in the block.
According to reports, Badal spotted this rare bird in his backyard, in the morning today. Subsequently he informed the Balasore Forest Department about the rare bird.
The officials of the forest department rushed to Badal’s house, rescued the owl and have taken it to Office of the Forester.
The forest officials have planned to release the rare bird in the nearby Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary tomorrow.
