Rainfall and possible thunderstorm across 12 districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Rainfall with lightning might very possibly lash across 12 districts of Odisha from February 8 to 10 under the impact of a strong western disturbance approaching Eastern India, as per Meteorological Centre here.

As per latest bulletin released the State Meteorological Centre ‘light rain/ thunderstorm likely to occur at one or two places over’ 12 districts of Odisha. It is important to note here that no warning has been issued by the Meteorological Department.

The rainfall affected districts will be Nabrangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Baragarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj. The bulletin, additionally said that dry weather might likely prevail over the other districts.

The wet weather’s effect shall mostly stay on February 8 and 9 and shall gradually change by 10.

Apart from this, dry and cold weather shall prevail over the rest of Odisha.
