Rain to continue in Odisha for next 24 hours: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will continue to witness the cloudy and foggy weather condition for next 24 hours, predicted the IMD Regional Centre here today.

As per the latest bulleting of the MeT Department, almost all districts across the State will continue to have rainfall with a number of places in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Puri and Nayagarh witnessing gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kilometres kmph.

The bulletin further said that dense fog will be seen in Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Balangir and Bargarh districts during this period.

There will be a decrease in temperature by 3-4 degree Celsius starting from January 10 causing a cold wave condition in districts like Angul, Sonepur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.

The state capital Bhubaneswar will witness a change in weather from Sunday.
