Rain in Odisha! IMD issues yellow warning till June 20, See details

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued a yellow warning for rainfall along with thunderstorm and lightning in different districts of Odisha.

Reportedly, the weatherman has issued the warning June 20.

Day-1 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 17):

Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over all the districts the state.

Day-2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 17 up to 8.30 AM of June 18):

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal,Keonjhar,Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri.
Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Angul, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Jajpur.

Day-3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 18 up to 8.30 June 19):

Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few places over the districts of South Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul,
Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada.

Day-4 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 18 up to 8.30 June 19):

Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal,Keonjhar,Mayurbhanj,Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir,
Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur.

Day-5 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 19 up to 8.30 June 20):

Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of South Odisha,North Coastal Odisha and at a few places over the districts of North Interior Odisha.

Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati,Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,
Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur.
Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj.

The warning has been issued for all the districts of Odisha till 8.30 am of June 17. Following this, the warning has been issued issued issued for 23 districts from 8.30 am of June 17 till 8.30 am of June 18.

Likewise, the warning has been issued issued issued for 21 districts from 8.30 am of June 18 till 8.30 am of June 19 and for 22 districts from 8.30 am of June 19 till 8.30 am of June 20.
