Rain in Odisha! IMD issues yellow warning for next 5 days, check details

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur in different districts of Odisha.

The Weatherman has issued the Yellow warning for light to moderate rain or thunderstorm for the next five days from June 10 to June 15.

Day-1 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 11)

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Gapjam, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Day-2 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 11 to Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 12)

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Gajapati and Mayurbhanj.

Day-3 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 12 to Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 13)

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Bolangir, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Day-4 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 13 to Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 14)

• Forecast: Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorms with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.

Day-5 (Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 14 to Valid up to 8.30 AM of June 15)

• Forecast: Light to Moderate Rain or Thunderstorm is very likely to occur at few places over the districts of Odisha.
• Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput.
