Puri: In view of the significant decline in Covid-19 cases across the state, the Srimandir will remain open for devotees on Sundays from today.
The temple use to remain shut for devotees on Sundays for the sanitisation due to Covid -19 situation.
As per the revised SOP, public darshan at the mandir will start at 6 am. However, the devotees will have to wear masks inside the temple following the Covid protocols.
Earlier, the SJTA had ordered the closure of the temple for the public on Sundays for sake of sanitization. He said now the sanitization will be done during the night and not by closing the temple.
