Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) appoints New India Assurance to provide health insurance coverage for all the Sevayats of the Srimandir, Puri.
The decision was finalized today in a meeting chaired by the Chief Administrator, Shree Jagannth Temple Administration(SJTA) Krishan Kumar.
The approved insurance scheme will provide coverage to all 2500 Sevayat families. The scheme will provide a basic coverage of Rs 2 lakh per family and an additional cover of Rs One Lakh who are critically ill.
Further, an additional cover of Rs 3 lakh for around 25 persons who are undergoing treatment of Cancer and Kidney transplantation.
Also, SJTA looks forward for an effective partnership with the New India Assurance for taking care of the health requirements of the Sevayats.
