Puri: The families of the sevayats of Shree Jagannath Temple to be provided with houses soon ,informs SJTA chief administrator Krishan Kumar on Thursday.
The decision came after it was decided at the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee meeting today.
In the first phase around 400 sevayats to be provided with houses on 8- acre land and each family will be provided with 700-feet land and Rs 2 lakh for the construction of the houses, added SJTA chief administrator.
Applications to apply for the houses will be received from the sevayats and then will be allotted with plots, said Krishan Kumar.
The servitors can invest more from their pockets if they want extension of their houses.
Ms Kalinga
