Puri: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed that a survey will be conducted soon for railway connectivity to Konark. Konark will get a railway connection from Puri or any other places in Odisha added Vaishnaw.
He also said that on rolling out of 5G facilities the services will not begin in Odisha in the first phase. As many as 20-25 cities in the country will get the services in the first phase.
“No cities from Odisha included in the list. State to get 5G services in next phase,” he added.
The projects worth Rs 364 crore will be completed in Puri in the next 2 years. A new Jatri Niwas will also be constructed and it will be designed in a way which will have the ability to withstand windspeed up to 200-300 kmph.
The Union Minister also said that as many as 205 train services will be provided during the upcoming Rath Yatra.
