Puri Police Arrests 2 Drug Peddlers, Seizes Contraband Worth 10 Lakh
Puri: Police has seized drugs worth as much as ten lakh (Rs. 10 Lakhs) under Kanas police station situated in Puri district on Wednesday.
According to a tweet on the official Twitter handle of Puri Police, Kanas Police Station Inspector-In-Charge (IIC Insp) Sujit Kumar Das and his team got a lead in this matter.
They conducted a raid and were able to seize 108 grams of Brown Sugar and apprehend two inter-district contraband suppliers to rural Puri.
The seized contraband is estimated to be worth as much as Rs. 10 Lakhs (ten lakhs)
Police has also seized two mobile phones, one motorcycle and cash worth Rs. 9785. The police also informed that, both accused persons belong to Khorda District of Odisha.
