New Delhi: The Supreme Court reserved its orders in the petitions about construction activities at the iconic Shree Jagannath Temple premises at Puri.

According to the reports, the Court will pronounce the orders tomorrow on Friday.

A bench comprising Justice BR Gavai and Justice Hima Kohli was hearing arguments today.

Notably, several chief servitors of the temple had filed a writ petition at the Orissa High Court seeking orders for completion of the project at the earliest.

Odisha government along with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) were made parties in the writ petition.

It is pertinent to mention that after having a two-hour-long meeting with the Shankaracharya, the Puri King Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb said that no one should hinder the development work of Lord Jagannath.
