Puri Gajapati Maharaj asks Dist, Police Admn to nab culprits of theft from Mausima temple
Puri: Expressing surprise in the incident of theft last night in Shree Mausima temple on the grand road (Bada Danda) in Puri of Odisha Gajapati Maharaj Dibyasingha Deb has asked the District administration as well as Police administration to take all steps to nab the culprits.
Here is the media message of Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb: “I am surprised to learn about the incindent of theft last night in Shree Mausima Mandira on Puri Bada Danda. The District and Police Administration must take all steps to nab the culprits and to work out a comprehensive and effective strategy to ensure safety and security of all places of worship in Most Holy Shreekshetra.”

The Mausima temple is located barely at a distance of a few hundreds meter from the Srimandira, the famous temple of Lord Jagannath in Puri. Theft from Mausima has rose alarm to the security of other temples in Puri.
