Primary Schools In Odisha Likely To Reopen In October
Bhubaneswar: Primary schools across Odisha, are likely to reopen in October post-Covid hiatus. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is reportedly being prepared by the State Government.
According to sources, if the daily COVID-19 cases in the state continues to decline for the next 15 days, the government may decide to begin physical classes for the primary classes, that is from Standard-I to Standard-VIII.
The classes are likely to commence from October first week or after Dussehra. The schools are being cleaned and sanitized as a measure to prepare for the reopening.
It is worth mentioning that many states have opened up their schools.
It is noteworthy that, the physical classes of standard 9 and 10 in Odisha had resumed a month back.
