Bhubaneswar: Newly elected President Ramnath Kovind will felicitate four Odia freedom fighters on Kranti Diwas on 9th August.
The four freedom fighters – Sahadeb Behera of Kantilo in Nayagarh district, Chakradhar Parida of Ranapur in Nayagarh district, Gobardhana Acharya of Jagatsinghpur and Dadhichi Sahu of Jajpur – will be felicitated by the new President at a special function at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The four pride of Odisha will leave for New Delhi on August 4.
This will be Kovind’s first felicitation to any freedom fighter after being elected as the first citizen of the country.
