Bhubaneswar: Renowned Odia writer and OAS Officer Dr. Pradeep Dash will be conferred with the prestigious Sarala Puraskar 2019 for his novel “Charu Chibara O Charjya”.
The 40th edition of the award was announced by the Sarala Puraskar Committee at its meeting here on Friday.
The writer will receive a cash award of Rs. 5 lakh along with a citation at a special function scheduled to be held on October 26.
The annual Sarala Puraskar instituted by Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT) in 1979.
