Police Issues Traffic Advisory For Swearing In Ceremony of Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police today issued traffic advisory for swearing in ceremony of Naveen Patnaik which will be held at the Exhibition Ground on Wednesday. Patnaik will take oath as the chief minister for the record fifth term along with the council of ministers.

As per the notification by the police, the road connecting Ram Mandir Square and Housing Board Square will remain closed for general public between 7 am and 10 o’clock on Wednesday.

Police said commuters coming from Vani Vihar Square and intending to go towards Housing Board Square need to go straight towards Master Canteen and then take a diversion towards Lower PMG.

Similarly, public coming from Acharya Vihar Square to reach Ram Mandir Square via Housing Board Square need to go straight towards PMG Square and take diversion towards Master Canteen Square.

Police said that no vehicle without pass will not be allowed to ply on the road connecting Ram Mandir Square and Housing Board Square. Police have issued passes of three different colours ie-pink, yellow and green and designated parking lots have also been set up for each pass holders.
