PM Narendra Modi’s maiden Baripada visit today, slew of projects to be launched

Baripada: PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate a slew of projects worth Rs 4,500 crore on his Baripada visit scheduled for today.

As per a report from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) yesterday, Modi will inaugurate the Balasore-Haldia-Durgapur section of LPG pipeline project of IOCL and the Balasore multi-modal logistic park at an official program at Baripada Stadium.

Among others, the PM will also launch a plaque to mark the starting of the work for the preservation of the Rasika Ray temple at ancient fort Haripurgarh, six passport seva kendras and lay foundation stone for the four-laning of various national highway projects.

The much awaited second passenger train from Tatanagar to Badampahar will also be launched by the PM on this occasion.

He would address a massive public gathering at Chhow Padia later, for which the Odisha BJP has completed all arrangements.
