Plus Two practical examinations begin in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus Two practical examinations, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), began across the state today. It will continue till February 8.

The CHSE has directed all the college authorities to submit the project reports and mark-foils of Commerce stream within seven days from completion of Practical Examinations.

In a bid to avoid any irregularity or misshapings during the exam, the Council had made it mandatory for the exam centre authorities to install CCTV cameras in the practical examination halls. Besides, the board has formed a three-tier squad system to prevent malpractice during the exam.

As per sources at the board office, all residential colleges are required to submit the video footage of the practical examination in their centres with the practical answer scripts and mark foils in this Council office within seven days from completion of the practical examination.

The theory examinations, as per the timetable declared by the CHSE, will begin from March 7 and conclude on March 30.

Around 3.68 lakh students are slated to appear the annual Plus Two exam in Science, Commerce, Art and Vocational courses this year, added the sources.
