Bhubaneswar: Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra on Wednesday informed that the much awaited results of Plus Two Arts and Commerce streams likely to be published either on June 8 or 9.
“The tentative date for publication of the results is June 9. As June 9 is second Saturday, there is a problem for the purpose. We’re mulling to pre-pone the result publication to June 8, if possible,” Patra said while speaking to the reporters at the State Secretariat here today.
“If it is made certain, we’ll duly intimate media,” he added.
As many as 2,33,978 students had appeared for the annual exam in Arts stream, while 27,447 examinees wrote the exam in Commerce stream, which were conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) this year.
Likewise 8,226 students appeared for the test in Vocational education.
The CHSE had announced the Plus Two Science results with 76.98% pass percentage earlier on May 19. As many as 19,561 students had got first class and 24,164 students got second division while 28,968 students secured third division.
