Nabarangpur: In a tragic incident, as many as four labourers have been critically injured in a road accident in Kanhei village under Nandahandi block in Nabarangpur district of Odisha.
According to reports, a total of 25 labourers were en-route to Khuntia village in Nabarangpur from Kalahandi district in a pick-up van. They were travelling to the village to repair pipelines in the area when the vehicle overturned on the way.
All the labourers were injured whereas four of them sustained critical injuries.
The injured people have been admitted to a hospital in Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur and the critically injured people have been admitted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHH) for immediate medical treatment.
The locals alleged that the pick-up van was travelling in a high speed due to which it lost balance over the wheels and turned turtle.
