Keonjhar: Driver of a pick-up van was looted at gunpoint by miscreants in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Sunday. The driver has been identified as Ajay Kumar Barik, who was working at a grocery godown.
Barik was returning to Salapada in a pick-up van after delivering grocery items in the Ghatagaon area. However, four-armed miscreants waylaid him near Khadibila under Ghasipura Police Station limits and looted Rs 2.70 lakh from him at gunpoint.
The miscreants also looted Barik’s mobile phone before fleeing from the spot.
Later, Barik filed a complaint at Ghasipura Police Station following which cops started a probe into the matter.
