Pharmacist turns Good Samaritan for injured puppy in Odisha

Balasore: Animals often die under the wheels of vehicles while going on the road. There is also a slight negligence on the part of the motorists or those who drive the vehicles. However, there are some people who are kind to animals. Jeevan Kumar Behera, the pharmacist of Kundi village in Simulia block of Balasore district, is one of them.

Jeevan turned a Good Samaritan for an injured puppy after he rescued and treated it in Kundi village of the district.

According to reports, the puppy was hit by a bike while walking down the street. The puppy was seriously injured. Seeing this, the pharmacist immediately treated the puppy. After the treatment, the condition of the puppy was said to be stable.

“We need to take care of animals even in our busy lives and provide medical treatment to the injured animals and save their lives,” Jeevan advised people.

Meanwhile, people from different walks of life in the district hailed Jeevan’s act of kindness for the animals.
