Petrol diesel price continues to skyrocket in Bhubaneswar, Petrol hikes by 46 paisa and diesel by 48 paisa

Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices have continued to witness a constant rise for the last few days in capital city Bhubaneswar. On Friday, the petrol price in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs 109.71 per litre while the diesel price has been recorded at Rs 106.32 per litre. The cost of petrol and the diesel has increased by 46 paisa and 48 paisa respectively in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, the petrol and diesel costs were recorded at Rs 109.25 per litre and Rs 105.84 per litre respectively.

The fuel prices are increasing at an alarming rate which has caused an unbalance in consumers’ daily budget. The middle class families are mainly affected by the constant hike in petrol and diesel price.

On the other hand, some major cities in Odisha has registered petrol price above 110 and the rate of petrol in Malkangiri district has been recorded to be the highest in the state at Rs 115.19 per litre. The other major cities of India have also recorded the petrol price above Rs 100 including Rs 105.43 in Chennai, Rs 109.12 in Kolkata and Rs 114.47 in Mumbai. The diesel price in various cities are recorded at Rs 101.59 in Chennai, Rs 100.49 in Kolkata and in Mumbai the rates are at Rs 105.49.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol in the national capital is recorded at Rs 108.64 per litre while the price of diesel is at Rs 97.37 per litre.
