Petrol and diesel prices continue to hike in Bhubaneswar today; Petrol hikes by 29 paise

Bhubaneswar: The petrol and diesel prices have continued to hike for the second consecutive day in capital city Bhubaneswar on Thursday. The price of petrol has been recorded at Rs 102.10 per litre while the diesel rate has been recorded at Rs 91.91 per litre today.

On Wednesday, the cost of petrol was also recorded at Rs 101.81 per litre while the diesel price was recorded at Rs 91.62 per litre. The cost of both petrol and diesel have increased by 29 Paise in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, the petrol and diesel price in major cities of India have remained unchanged for several consecutive days after the price cut announced by Government.

The petrol price in major cities of India like Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai have been recorded at Rs 101.40, Rs 104.67 and Rs 109.98 respectively. The diesel price are recorded at Rs 91.43 in Chennai, Rs 89.79 in Kolkata and in Mumbai the rates are at Rs 94.14.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol in the national capital is recorded at Rs 103.97 per litre while the price of diesel is at Rs 86.67 per litre.

The fall in cost of petrol has brought much needed relief to consumers. However, despite the price cut, the petrol cost still remains above Rs 100 in most of the cities.
