Petrol and diesel price remains constant in Bhubaneswar, Check details

Bhubaneswar: Petrol and diesel prices remains constant in capital city on Monday. Today, the petrol price in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs 106.77 per litre while the diesel price has been recorded at Rs 103.15 per litre.

Similarly on Sunday, the petrol and diesel rate were recorded at Rs 106.42 and at Rs 102.77 respectively in the smart city of Odisha. The cost of petrol and diesel rate have not increased in the last 24 hours.

All major cities of Odisha has registered petrol price above 100 and the rate of petrol in Malkangiri district has been recorded to be the highest in the state at Rs 108.56. The other major cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur and other cities has also recorded the petrol price above Rs 100 including Rs 103.01 in Chennai, Rs 105.84 in Delhi, Rs 106.43 in Kolkata and Rs 111.77 in Mumbai. The diesel price in various cities are Rs 98.92 in Chennai, Rs 94.57 in Delhi, Rs 97.68 in Kolkata and in Mumbai the rates have crossed above Rs 100 mark at Rs 102.52.

Former Union Minister and TMC leader Yashwant Sinha attacked the union government over the rising fuel prices in India on a daily basis. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the former Union Finance Minister has claimed that nowhere in the world people would have tolerated the daily and unjustified rise in petrol, diesel and LPG prices.

He further alleged that the government is collecting Rs 3.50 lakh crore in taxes as compared to Rs 75,000 crore in 2014. The TMC leader concluded his tweet by alleging ‘daylight robbery’ on the Centre’s part.
