Parlakhemundi ACF Death Case: CB reaches Balasore to record statement of deceased’s family members

Balasore: The Crime Branch team probing the death case of Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra has reached at his residence in Balasore to record statement of family members.

A four-member team of Crime Branch has reached at deceased Soumya’s native Khaira residence of Balasore to record statement of family members.

The Crime Branch team will be interrogating his wife Bidya Bharati tomorrow. Two lady officers from the Crime Against Women and Children Wing (CAW&CW) of Odisha Police will assist the Crime Branch team for the interrogation.

The Crime Branch team has already interrogated 14 persons in Paralakhemundi in the said case.  The investigation also included recording of statements, verification of different documents, CDR analysis, analysis of the investigation report of Gajapati Police and detail analysis of the case, informed Crime Branch ADG Sanjeev Panda.
