Panchayat Polls: CM urged BJD leaders to seek people’s blessings by highlighting Govt’s plans

Bhubaneswar: Addressing the MPs, MLAs, dist presidents, observers and other party workers of Biju Janata Dal, party supremo cum Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday urged them to seek blessings of people by highlighting the welfare plans and programs of the Government.

Addressing the party people through a virtual meeting on Panchayat Polls campaign the Chief Minister also asked them to give befitting reply to lies of the Opposition.

The CM said that now the third wave of Covid pandemic is going on. He urged to abide the covid norms. He also informed that Odisha has topped in the country in the fight against Covid.

The BSKY health card has been seen as a hope by the people of Odisha. This is first of its kind in the whole country. During this pandemic, loan assistance of Rs 10,000 crore was given to women of Mission Shakti without any interest. Lakhs of landless farmers have been given assistance under Kalia Yojana, the CM said.

May it be irrigation, Educational infrastructure, industry of development of the Scheduled castes and tribes, Odisha has topped in many fields. Common man has become part of the Mo Sarkar initiative. We all know that residents of Odisha love BJD and hence they have blessed the party in all the elections. However, the Opposition parties will use lies as a weapon. Hence, you need to seek people’s blessings by highlighting the Govt’s plans, Patnaik said.
