Batumi, Georgia: Padmalaya Nanda, the 12-year-old beauty sensation from Odisha, who had qualified for the Miss Little Universe beauty pageant being held here, has finally made it to the Top 10.
Padmalaya got good number of votes to qualify for Top 10 finalists while 6 others were voted out of the contest. She has been doing very well on various rounds held so far, but needs more support in terms of online voting to win the coveted crown.
The 12-year-old beauty entered in the top ten for her anti-terrorism message through a poster. The lone Indian participants drew the attention of the juries by writing the message ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, which means ‘the world is one family’. She had written it in English, Hindi and Sanskrit.
The class VIII student of Stewart School in Cuttack has urged her fans to vote and help her to win the Little Miss Universe title. The voting process is active till 1.30 PM on June 4 ahead of the grand finale on June 6.
