Cuttack: The District Excise department on Saturday apprehended four persons and seized 1 quintal 80 kg of dry cannabis from a private bus in Odisha’s Cuttack in the morning.

Based on a reliable information, the Excise department conducted a raid at the private bus and seized one quintal 80 kg of ganja worth 9 lakhs and arrested four persons including the conductor of the bus.

The ganja was being smuggled to Kolkata from Berhampur.

Yesterday, 150 kg of Ganja was seized near Manguli Chakka in Cuttack.
