Over 18 Odia Pilgrims injured in a Road accident in Jharkhand

Bhubaneswar/ Ranchi: Over 18 persons were injured after a tourist bus carrying pilgrims from Odisha fell off a bridge near Tata in Jharkhand late Friday night.

The injured persons were rushed to Tata Hospital for their treatment.

Sources said, a speeding truck hit the private-run tourist bus ‘Sriramjee Benz’, which was stationed on the roadside. The mishap was so intense that the bus immediately fell off the near by bridge.

The bus was carrying as many as 65 Muslim pilgrims from Cuttack, Kendrapara and Soro areas in Odisha. The accident occurred, when the pilgrims were returning from Ajmer after attending the annual celebrations of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
