OTDC To Launch Second Floating Restaurant On Mahanadi In Cuttack

Cuttack: The second floating restaurant will be inaugurated today on the Mahanadi river which will be operated by Odisha Tourist Development Corporation (OTDC).

Reportedly, the floating restaurant named as ‘Simple Bistro’ will be operated at the Silver City Boat Club in Cuttack.

The restaurant will have a seating capacity of 30 people, added reports. Check below to know the price chart of the new floating restaurant:

• A single table would cost Rs 1200/- per hour
• The entire restaurant would cost Rs 10,000/- per 2 hours
• The entire restaurant would cost Rs 20,000/- for morning only from 10.30 am till 3.30 pm
• The entire restaurant would cost Rs 20,000/- for evening only from 4.30 pm till 9.30 pm
• The entire restaurant would cost Rs 37,000/- for whole day from 10.30 am till 9.30 pm

Notably, an 18% GST will be applicable on the charges.

It is pertinent to mention that earlier in October 2021, an 8-seated floating restaurant was inaugurated on the Mahanadi at the Silver City Boat Club.

People can now savour the view of the Mahanadi from a vantage point while enjoying their favourite dishes. At night, the floating restaurants will be decked up with colourful LED lights while suitable music will be on play to further heighten the ambiance.

The Silver City Boat Club at Cuttack was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through virtual mode in April 2021.
